"This review refers to the USPS Exclusive Edition of "Sinatra - Nothing But The Best"(CD)



This special edition of this album with a marvelous selection of Frank Sinatra's is one that, of course, does not have every single one of Ol' Blue Eyes' greatest(weren't they all), but ahhhhh the songs are sure to bring a smile to your lips and maybe even a tear to your eye. They are sentimental,romantic,nostalgic and definitely material for swooning once again to "The Voice". For me it's a mood lifter and leaves me feeling good. It even sometimes makes me want to sing along(providing no one else is around).



All tracks have been digitally remastered(this edition has one extra song not on the regular edition - see list below) and Frankie's sweet and velvety tones are like new! This special edition brought to you by none other then the US Post Office coincides with the release of the Sinatra Stamp first issued on 5/13/2008.(this was a sign for me, as 5/13 is my birthday). A first day of issue stamp(canceled only on the bottom corner by a reprint of his signature below the stamp - top of the "S") is included with this edition along with an extra cut, not on the standard edition.It's a 42 cent stamp.



The total time of the CD runs between 1:10 - 1:15 hours. A nice getaway with Frank! It also includes a nice little booklet with some great pix and production notes.
