Listening to Frank Fontaine always makes me feel so very fortunate to have grown up during the period in time he appeared on the Jackie Gleason show each week. What a gifted singer he was when he sang those great standards such as Heart of My Heart, it was pure musical magic. I wore out the 45 single of that song as a kid and still have the original Songs I Sing on the Jackie Gleason Show record as well as all his other albums and they still sound great. It was so nice to hear Songs I Sing on the Jackie Gleason Show was finally being released on CD. What took so long? Hopefully all his records will be released as well. You won't regret buying this CD it is music as it should be heard."
