Great stylists

"This ain't no Basie, but this is close as any band's going to get as far as covering those Basie charts. The sax section is sweet sounding, the rhythm section tight, punchy trombones and screeching trumpets...this album's a blast, and it is certainly fun, no doubt. Check out Ernie Andrew's stylings in "Take the 'A' Train" and the other vocalist (comically but coincidentally, Ms. Ernestine Anderson), who does "I let a Song Go Out of My Heart. Overall, a fun listen, maybe get your dancin' shoes on, and be swingin' right out that door!"
