Synopsis

Product Description
The Sweet Songs of Decay is Bango's most evolved album to date, a beautiful, richly crafted collection that offers hope and opportunity, with often dark undertones. What Bango has created here is an album to be played in sequence and without pause, in the garden or on the concrete. A melodious pop soundtrack for the inevitable journey through life, love, death, decay and all points beyond. The album was recorded mostly in New York. Bango produced the record with help from friends including Sean Eden (Luna), Steve Calhoon (Pretendo, Skeleton Key, Vic Chesnutt, Daniel Johnston), Graham Maby (Joe Jackson) and Bango's longtime band The Magic Fingers. The record was mixed by Pete Min and Ed Stasium (Talking Heads, The Ramones, The Smithereens). If Bango's three previous releases have earned him due praise and critical attention, The Sweet Songs of Decay should earn him that and more showing growth, strength, and an even more stunning sensibility of pop craftsmanship.
