CD ReviewsIt's "En Vivo Marzo 16" under a new title ... 11/11/1999 (5 out of 5 stars) "Despite the name, this CD is actually a reissue of "En Vivo Marzo 16," Franco's live album from 1992. He presents a lot of his hits in exciting versions -- the album was recorded in front a huge hometown crowd in Caracas. The audience sings with Franco a lot, particularly on the classics "Te Amo" and "No Basta." The studio versions are probably stronger, but it's great to hear the dynamic De Vita showcased in front of an enthusiastic audience. "Entre Tu Vida y La Mia" and "No Lo Habia Pensado" are both studio recordings and were the hits from this album. The latter is a bluesy ballad; the former a synth-driven number that features some of Franco's most poetic lyrics."
