Half of the selections are from his "Sarbacane" tour (for which there is also a video, only in French video format unfortunately) taped in 1989 (i.e. almost 10 yrs ago), and the other half are acoustic numbers taped in 1991. Cabrel's style is that of the balladeer-troubadour, extraordinarily romantic, but also bittersweet in his disillusionment with modern society and regrets about missing a kinder, gentler time."
