"This is a recording I'll enjoy for many many years to come. The beautiful Tosti songs suited Bergonzi's mellow voice and immaculate legato wonderfully in the 80s and we're so fortunate that Orfeo decided to record him a few times in his twilight years. The veteran still had so much to offer and proves it with his heartbraking phrasing. Everything here is sung simply and sincerely and this makes Tosti songs as light as lullabies yet as moving as a lovestory. I was in tears listening to three songs in particular: Non t'amo piu, Malia and Sogno. Treat yourself to an unforgettable evening with Carlo Bergonzi."
