In some countries, she is also known as Asia's Barbra Streisand. However I prefer to think of her as an original as she does not imitate. She interprets. I have seen her in concert many times and she never fails to amaze me with her vocal power and range. On stage, she is a most dynamic performer. She sings in many languages - English, Malay, Thai, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, Hindu, Japanese. This cd is a collection of her Cantonese hits from Hong Kong. Her biggest hit SHANGHAI BEACH is of course included. This cd is out-of-print in Asia. Grab it while you can!"
