Great Gospel Bluegrass

"I was a fan of the Forbes Family back in the mid-80s. Their music comes straight from their hearts and touches mine. Lisa's stunningly beautiful face and voice are what got several of my male friends interested in blugrass.

I was fortunate enough to see the Forbes Family sing at a small country church one Sunday evening in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Imagine sitting in a small church singing hymns accompanied by perhaps not the best instrumentalists on earth but lead by a young girl with a beautiful voice. After the country preacher preached a sermon, they sang a few more hymns and then loaded up their instruments in a pick-up truck and headed back to their home. This is what bluegrass gospel is all about. This is the Forbes Family. And, yes, guys, Lisa was just as beautiful in person."
