"What more can be said for that unique "sound" that Nate Nelson brought to the group, when you put 1950's and the word ballad together you automatically come up with the Flamingos. They're best known for their ballads, and sixteen out of the twenty tracks are just that, but don't get me wrong, the Flamingos can put over an uptempo tune just as well. You get two previously unissued tracks, both are alternate takes of "When" and "I'll Be Home". My all time favorite Flamingos song is "A Kiss From Your Lips". It is unfortunate that all the members of the Flamingos are no longer with us, but we are very fortunate to have their musical legacy live on captured on disc."
