""Hot Wings"!!! the fourth release from british power trio Firebird is more than a captivating album , the band explores beyond the past releases but they keep the limits of the sound that is searched i mean that this time they take sound elements not only from late 60s and early 70s but this time they explore sounds used in the second half of the 70s, lets take "playing the fool" for instance this song features guitar and vocals distortion actually the voice of Bill Steer have some John Lennon reminicences here , "Horse Drawn Man" is another masterpiece , here you can appreciate the Firebird we are used to listen in past albums, "overnight" is stuning!!!!!!!!!! actually is my favorite , "Hot Wings" marks the return of original drummer Ludwin Witt (Spiritual Beggars) saddly Leo Smee(Cathedral) couldnt participate in this album as in the first two releases however this album is fantastic, the sound quality is great, the artwork is cool and the concept is nice.

Currently "Hot Wings" is available only in japanese version , soon the european and american edition will be released so the wait will worth it, altought i couldnt wait he he
