Synopsis

Album Description
Having faked their own deaths at the end of their second album Superhero Music Fingathing members Peter Parker and Sneaky were blasted off into space in metal coffins. The beginning of their third album Fingathing And The Big Red Nebula Band finds them hurtling towards the sun to work with the fictional Big Nebula Band. Scratch DJ Peter Parker and electric bass wizard Sneaky created the king of third albums. Influenced by obscure krautrock, rare 80?s electro, hip hop and funk, the album is described by Parker as "dirty progressive soulful electro". To achieve this masterpiece Parker scratched through a vocoder, Sneaky ran his electric bass through all sorts of effects and Parker even created percussion by painstakingly making ?scratch overdubs? to produce a unique work. Following the Fingas? in their imaginary adventure Fingathing insist that upon listening to the album, you make up your own story.

"this album rocks so hard. It's like some experimental outer space funk that grooves so hard it makes you move involuntarily! I think they were extremely successful at what they set out to do. Ninja Tune does not disappoint, another killer record."
