Kazanecki, one of my favorites!

"This composer is one of my personal favorites. I would like to share some more info in addition to my review above.....Waldemar Kazanecki was born in
Warsaw in 1929. surprisingly, he was never formally educated in music, but
studied music privately. his music is mostly classical created for orchestra, used
in film or theater. his work consists of over 500 compositions, used
mostly in cartoons and films. he has received many awards in his native
Poland. his work on a children's cartoon 'prosze Slonia' is especially dear
to many fans. his music is moving, pleasing to the ear with unforgettable
tunes like 'czarne chmury' or 'noce i dnie'.....simply one of a kind! buy
it please for all who love the sound of polish classical music......."

"I am so happy that I have found this CD by one of my favorite Polish music composers. This music will move you like nothing else. it's that classic Polish sound similar to Chopin. it helps if you are Polish and you have watched "noce i dnie"- an amzing film made in the '70's, which was nominated for an Acadamy Award for best foreign picture! and this CD contains most of the music from that incredible movie! get this CD for anyone you know who is Polish and they will love you for it! also, you may enjoy it as well! wow, again I am so happy to have found it here........"
