Ffa Coffi Pawb, whose members included Super Furry Animals' Gruff Rhys (on vocals & guitar) & Dafydd Ieuan (drums), existed between 1986 & 1993. 'Am Byth', a compilation of Ffa Coffi Pawb songs brings together tracks taken from the band's four albums, various 12 inch releases, flexi discs & one-off songs from Welsh language compilations, most of which feature on CD for the first time. The American re-issue's a better buy

"This version lacks a bonus track on the U.S. version, and the English translations and commentary by Gruff Rhys that also accompany the American reissue. Unless you read Welsh, and more power to you that do, opt for the English-augmented supplements; the Welsh lyrics deserve to gain their widest audience, even if it's in the tongue of the true "foreigner" in Cymry.
