Album Description Ferry Corsten is one of the biggest names in Trance music. He's sold hundreds of thousands of mix CDs around the globe (from his Trance Nation CDs for Ministry of Sound to his World Tour CDs for Purple Eye and not forgetting his two Global Trancemissions CDs for Moonshine.) Ferry's original productions are some of the biggest hits in Trance history. He records under the names System F and Gouryella as well as Ferry Corsten. His latest single "Punk" is without doubt THE anthem of last year. You have to check out the crowd reaction to "Punk" as he drops live at Spundae, Los Angeles' superclub - no other DJ fires up the club like Ferry Corsten. There are a few tracks toward the middle that I'm not particularly fond of, but the first 4 or 5 tracks are excellent. Overall it's a great CD that any fan of Ferry Corsten should have. I for one was one of the lucky 2000 people that were there that night when they recorded the cd. It would have been better if the album is a double cd set, since tracks such as Pocket Damage, Ligaya, and Out of the Blue were played at the later part of the night. I'd have the say the highlights of the night were Punk and Out of the Blue. From what I heard from a buddy of mine, the Out of the Blue track was a vinyl belonging to one of the fans. Ferry picked it up from him and spun it as the last encore track, which I thought was pretty sweet. For those of you that will be in LA area around the end of August, Ferry will be playing at House of Blue on 8/29."
