CD Reviews

Fergalicious,so atrocious
Amaranth | Northern California | 12/17/2007
(1 out of 5 stars)

"Fergie-Ferg sings the song of herself in "Fergalicious (so delicious)." She doesn't need anyone to sing her praises... though Will I Yam joins in with an unhelpful rap. In the music video, Fergie makes a spectacle of herself, prancing around, riding a stationary bike, and having bikini-clad beauties smear her with frosting. "Fergalicious" is a supremely annoying song. It's a delicious...raspberry."
All About Fergie

"When an artist sings so much about themselves, it just doesn't always make a good song. For Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas, she is somebody who has tried to make a staple of herself, as a new solo effort with attitude. Although she had a upbeat single before with London Bridge, her second single, Fergaclicious, is about how men think of her as a sex symbol, and what she thinks about it. The song isn't bad, as she adds some element of her group with Will.I.Am joining in the song, but it isn't too much like her own. I just hope that her next single tries to be better than this one.

"Fergalicious definition makes them boys go crazy? Those are the lines of the most corniest rendition ever made! Fergie doesnt have a talented bone in her body and for her to talk about sex when she doesnt exude sexiness(she looks like Bucky O Hare on botox) shows an ego big as all outdoors. I cant front that the beat is alright but her lyrics are cheesy beyond belief. Fergie Ferg? Rock rock? Fergalicious? How corny can one person be? That corny. Thanks a lot Furbie for destroying JJ Fad's Supersonic with your unabashed cheesiness. I'll never listen to that classic tune again!"
