"I was introduced to The Fenians a year ago and it's been a musically fun year. Band of Rogues is my favorite Fenians album, especially Terry Casey's version of Green Fields of France and Rob Williams' "Fenians Original" San Patricios. The mix of hypnotic and upbeat instrumentals, historic ballads and uniquely arranged traditional Irish songs makes this a musical trip full of fun, adventure and thoughtful lyrics. The only thing better than listening to a Fenians CD is seeing them in concert. Can't wait for their new album in Fall 2003."

"The Fenians are one of very few bands who sing because they love it. They love their fans and they just love to perform, it's not about the money and the fame. I know Terry well, and he is very humble. "Band of Rogues" shows how much they all love what they do, even though it's just sound. The instrumentation is perfect and the blend of voices is so wonderful to listen to. These guys can sing, but they are also just plain fun! A wonderful addition to any music-lover's collection!"

"In this era of corporate marketing and the soundbite, marketers attempt to label every band and artist with a genre. With Band Of Rogues, The Fenians produced a CD that exhibits incredible range and defies labeling. From the beginning strains of an uillean pipe to the closing hard rocking rendition of Coal Tattoo, the Fenians demonstrate that they love music of all kinds and from all genres. They are also phenomenal technicians of both instruments and voice.Band of Rogues includes originals such as Tardu's Reel, the Drowsy Turk and Doogan's Stones. "San Patricios", an original as well, combines the band's southern California and celtic roots with powerful sax solos. The Fenians' arrangments of the included traditional irish tunes accentuates their beauty, yet infuses them with rock base.As a live recording, this CD will surely entice you to experience the band live. The production values are excellent, while keeping the freshness of a live performance. The Fenians' Band of Rogues CD opens your eyes to a world of music without labels, a world of music played with joyful hearts."

"As a long time fan of The Fenians, I have seen them grow from a local Orange County, CA bar band to one of the premiere Celtic Rock bands in the country. Their music embraces you, surrounds you, and lifts you up out of the day to day doldrums of life. This CD, "Band of Rogues," is their best yet. From beginning to end, this album will delight fans of Irish, Folk, Bluegrass, Rock and World music. From their original tunes of "The San Patricios" and "Drowsy Turk" to their unique arrangements and renditions of traditional songs such as "Danny Boy" and "The Green Fields of France", you will find yourself voyaging along the human spectrum of emotions: love, hate, sadness, joy, ecstasy, sorrow. The Fenians have infused Irish music with a blend of instruments and sounds you will not find elsewhere. Their music utilizes all of your senses: You can see the struggle, smell the passion, taste the freedom, hear the triumph, and you can truly feel the emotion. This CD will be a most welcome addition to any celtic music lover's collection. Don't be surprised if it becomes one of your favorites immediately. Better order two copies, because you are sure to wear out the first one!"
