A Wonderful Wooden Reason (to Buy This)
s.t. | Philadelphia | 06/21/2010
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Faust's first four albums are all fantastic ventures into some really strange sonic territory. They're lumped in with other 70's German bands like CAN and Neu!, but really these guys are more akin to later bands like This Heat, the Boredoms, and Acid Mothers Temple.

This album is only $3, so if you are a fan of adventurous, gleefully demented noise, and you haven't heard Faust, there's really no reason for you to not get this.

My main reason for writing this review, though, was to straighten out the song titles. They are:

1) Why Don't You Eat Carrots?

2) Meadow Meal

3) Miss Fortune (live)

Check this out, and if you like it, be sure to buy "So Far," "The Faust Tapes," and "Faust IV.""
