CD ReviewsAvoid it HB | Fort Mill, SC | 05/25/2006 (2 out of 5 stars) "I cannot believe Columbia (now Sony) ever went to Japan to record Faure. Had they used adequate soloists, it would have been okay. The chorus handles their part quite well, despite serious diction problems. But the soloists are a disaster and the conducting is not at all in the style of Faure. The recording has been around for a very long time. It should have been deleted years ago. In the meantime, do not buy it. There are too many good versions out there."
