08/13/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Especially in the category Vintage or Golden Oldies. NOBODY does it better than Ace Records of London, and among their own impressive catalogue of oldies, this triumvirate covering one of the original legends of R&R, Antoine "Fats" Domino of New Orleans, stands as a shining example to all companies as to how to deal with the hits of an individual artist or group.

If you're a Fats Domino fan and wish to obtain his original hit singles, look no further than this 3-part series, which comes complete with immaculate sound reproduction and, as I pointed out in my reviews of the other two volumes, some of the best background notes you will ever see in association with a CD. In this instance 9 pages written in January 1997 by Rick Coleman. Vintage photos and Billboard chart reproductions are also included.

I cannot recommend a series highly enough."
