Fatal "The Don" Hussein

(5 out of 5 stars)

"fatal's self titled follow up to, "In the Line of Fire" is off the hook. This, to me, is the real follow up to Tupac's Makaveli album. Since Fatal Hussein has not been with the other Outlawz, they have made dissapointing albums. Fatal has continued to bring the heat and realness 2 tha rap game. The opening track is done with New Child, a New York Outlaw. The second track "I'm an Outlaw" has the energy that the outlawz had when they were with Pac, Young Noble is featured on this track. The other outlawz appear on this album to show that there is no beef between Fatal and the outlawz. Fatal was smart and removed Ja Rule from the song "My Ni--az", because Ja is a self proclaimed 2Pac. Yall Can't F' With Us, is fatal's diss track hittin' up Tragedy Khaddafi for bitting Yak's name, Silk got shoter, and snoop doggy dog for being unloyal to 2pac and the row back in 1996. Blood in, Blood out is very remincant to pac's Hail Mary (not that it sounds the same, but the feeling is simmilar)and you would swear that tupac is singing the song Thug 4 Life. Thug in, Thug out, answers any questions a real Fatal fan has about where fatal is at and where his "loyalty" lies. The other Outlawz should be cryin' that they can't be this hard. This album is everything that is missing on Tupac's Beter Days (except 4 Late Night) If you liked Makaveli before his tracks were messed with cop this. He is the most under rated rapper, but people that herd him get real scared when you mention his name on the streets, especially in New York. I waited four years for this to drop. He's gonna appear on the Jerzey Mob album and Monica's all eyez on me, cop um both and support whats real and not that flour MTV comercial cilps, I mean stuff."
Great 2nd Album -- 4.5 stars

"Rap-A-Lot delivers Fatal's long awaited sophomore album 4 years after they recorded it and 5 years after his first album. This whole album was recorded in 1999 and is still trump tight in `03. The production is tight and Fatal fits it great and the output is a bunch of strong songs. Great production from Rap_A-Lot's main 2, Mr. Lee does 7 songs, Mike Dean does 5, and Edi Amin does 2. He has his hardcore songs on here and even disses Snoop. There are also a few deeper songs as well. There is no weak point on the album and you can easily listen through from track 1 to track 14 without skipping any tracks. It has 1 classic, 3 ok songs, the other 10 are good or great. A must have for Outlaw/2Pac fans and rap fans alike, this album is great. Features fellow Outlawz, the legend: Scarface, Snypaz, New Child, and Phats Bossilini.

OUTLAWZ!!!!!!!!"
Fatal - Fatal

(3 out of 5 stars)

"Fatal's (AKA Bruce Washington) second solo album was the self-titled "Fatal" (2002). The New Jersey rapper, and original Outlaw Immortalz member delivers a fourteen track release. Fatal reunited with the other Outlawz members putting past beef behind them on this release. A hungry sounding Fatal teams up with new Outlaw New Child on the strong opener "Rough S***". Fatal and the Outlawz deliver a banger with "I'm An Outlaw" repping their set. "My Niggaz" is another powerful cut, which Young Noble, Phats Bossi and Fatal rip up. Fatal changes the formula delivering a more mellow sad track with "DOA", reflecting on his own life and all the death he has seen. Fatal teams up with Napoleon and Young Noble for another standout on "I Wanna Be Free", feeling the lyrics and concept of this cut. A couple of decent tracks follow then Fatal and the Outlawz have a message for informers with "Stop Rattin". Fatal then teams up with the legendary Scarface and they deliver something different with "Daddy". Fatal delivers the grimy "Thug 4 Life" and pays tribute to Pac and Kadafi on the standout "Thug In Thug Out". Fatal finishes off this joint with "I Can't Stand". I recommend this release to fans of the Outlawz. 3.5."
