"The Other Side is the fourth album of the German Farmer Boys. It is not easy to put a label on the band. The guitars are groovy and sometimes sound like bands like Pantera and Prong, although they do not sound as heavy as those bands. The vocals are both melodic and melancholic. The songs are vocal orientated, short and catchy, but there are some interesting instrumental parts. If I would label it, I would say the band plays modern sounding metal with an alternative touch. Because the theme of the album is movies, there are musically a few hints to films and series. The production is excellent and with a little more support from their record label this band can become very popular outside Germany. I highly recommend this album."
