CD ReviewsFarflung - '9 Pin Body' (Brainticket Records) Mike Reed | USA | 03/21/2005 (4 out of 5 stars) "The CD's title in this posting is incorrect,it isn't self-titled.As of now,I believe I have every Farflung CD except one.I've always loved this band as I've apparently met a couple of members even before I knew anything about Farflung.I hung out with Grenas and La Belle when they toured as part of Nik Turner's band awhile back.Farflung crosses two genres of music,which are heavy industrial and space rock.Take it from me,a GREAT combination.This compilation disc brings us nine(9)left over recorded goodies from 1998-2002 that never made it onto an album.Tunes I thought carried their own were "Those Clouds Are Solid","A Thousand Cuts","Fun With Your New Head" and the brain damaging title cut "9 Pin Body".Plenty of galactic bliss to be discovered here.Line-up:Tommy Grenas-guitar&vocals,Doran Shelly-bass,Brandon La Belle-drums,Michael Esther-acoustic guitar,Scott Rusch-keyboards and Len Del Rio-engineer.See my reviews of their other releases,'So Many Minds...' and 'The Belief Module'.Recommended."
