I am a longtime fan of African and African-Diaspora music, and this is one group I never grow tired of, no matter how often I listen. Farafina has an energy which exalts and inspires; it is joyful in the extreme. Their other CDs are wonderful too. The one with John Hassell is quite different, and I don't like it as well. I have every cd they have made or appeared on. They have my highest recommendation!"
