The epic performance that took place at the Cheetah in 1971 is considered by many to be the night the 70's Salsa movement was born. It s now the 40th Anniversary of the event that bred modern day Salsa. The players were the all star cast from the growing Fania label at the time. On that night a sold-out show with over 4000 people and many more outside would witness the beginning of what would become the greatest group ever in Tropical music and the movement and sound that is still being played today all over the world.
