Synopsis

Album Description
Maybe it's his sly, laid back style or maybe it's his "Hollywood-ready good looks" (Rolling Stone), but who knew that when John Jackson chose to call himself "Fabolous," the name would define his career? Real Talk is Fab's third studio album featuring such notables as Sean Paul, Lil' Mo and T.I. Hit makers like Just Blaze, Scott Storch and the Neptunes contribute to this amazing sounding collection of joints. On this latest set he continues to walk the line between massive mainstream hits and satisfying the streets simultaneously. Real Talk promises to deliver. If you speak about it, be about it. REAL TALK.

CD Reviews

I don't know Fabby
Lena Waithe | Evanston, IL | 03/16/2005
(2 out of 5 stars)

"Look I decided to get this cd because i fell in love with breathe from the first time i heard it, and i didn't own any of his previous records but i love his slick metaphors and word play so i figured i'd cop this one but on the first listen it is pretty dissapointing and i haven't gone back too much to listen to it again because no song really stood out in my head besides breathe. i got into "baby" after seeing the video, but the reason why i'm not dissing it altogether is because i may start to like it later on down the line but the prospects aren't looking too good. sorry fab."
Great Album

"Great album. It's very unique and diverse. It's got club bangers, love songs, hood songs and more. Standout songs include: Breathe, In MY Hood, Po Po, Baby, Can You Hear Me and Holla At Somebody."
