Synopsis

Album Description
A collection of quirky, acoustic-based songs from this eccentric Brooklyn trio. Called "surreal, bizarre, funny, intelligent," "way cool." The New York Times said the band "gives eloquent voice to the multifaceted neuroses of prolonged adolescence." Radio Torino (Italy) called them "always original...ironical rhymes by which we can see the world from a strange and estranged point of view."

CD Reviews

Great stuff, whimsical and fun
Benjamin Kleinman | New York, NY | 09/02/1999
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Most of the songs verge on being laugh out loud funny. Mixed in are one or two more serious (or less amusings) pieces, as well as one or two that fall flat. I think my enjoyment of the CD is enhanced by the fact that I've seen KY&E live, and they give good show. But if you're in the mood for something different, with perhaps a touch of Presidents of the USA, give Kenny Young and the Eggplants a try."
