Klein | 10/05/2008 (1 out of 5 stars) "Having read a review that raved about this recording and wanting to hear the great Bastianini sing his best operatic roles, I enthusiastically purchased this disc. Forget it! The sound is execrable, like it was recorded by someone sitting in the last orchestra row with a wire recorder. His voice sounds so far away as to be unrecognizable. That a company would produce this disc and sell it at a premium price is insulting to the serious music lover."
