Synopsis

Album Description
"Link Wray grinds tires for a new highway. The watchword for this CD is "intensity." Most tracks are melodic and sport unrelenting power. It's almost more than you can stand in one sitting. Solid is an understatement, with very strong musicianship and near insanely thick sound." --- Phil Dirt, KFJC, Reverb Central

CD Reviews

New Sounds of Heavy Surf

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Brazil's Estrume n Tal play an original blend of intense, instrumental, guitar driven surf rock. The songs are powerful and energetic and retain melody. All the songs are good on this CD. Some of my favorites are; Tubarao, Torpeido, and Marcha Funebre;a killer, revved-up version of the Funeral March. These guys mix the sounds of Dick Dale with Slayer. Excellent driving music. Highly recommended if you like Man or Astroman and stuff like that. Not for trad surf purists stuck in '61."
