"Rabab is a very culturely specific music instrument majorly used in Afganistan and Pashtoon parts of PAkistan(NWFP,Balouchistan). The roots of the instrument comes from central asian regions and resembles sitar(triple stringed) in sound as well as a bit of shape. The sounds of rabab and especially rags featured on the disk are very folk and touches upon the melancholic side of rabab(though it sounds equally vibrant otherwise). The tracks featured will sound like a mild version of chello though original sounds of rabab can't be attributed to any other stringed instrument. Hear it for a nice evening chillout session."
