Hailing from the birthplace of heavy metal, Birmingham, England, ESOTERIC was founded in 1992 by Greg Chandler (Vocals/guitar) and Gordon Chandler (guitar/Samples/Keyboards). Their intentions being to set their moniker to music by way of dark, drawn out, tormented but also cinematic exreme death/doom. Since these early days, the band have released 5 albums (3 of them being double CD's) Which have established them as the founders and kings droned out, durge heavy doom. Seasons of the mist is proud to present ESOTERIC's 1997 Double CD with it's glossy 12 page booklet and psychedelic artwork. Hateful, barbaric, torture doom no longer has to be a mystery.
