"Eskobar single "Someone new" in duet with Heather Nova is on heavy rotation on my local radio. I liked this upbeat ballad, easy to sing along with this catchy chorus and perfect for summertime. I wanted to hear more from them and the rest of the album did not disappoint me. This band has an excellent sense of melody, and seems to write stick-in-your-head choruses and find hooks with an amazing facility. The singer has a very agreeable voice. "Move on" wears its title well; this energetic pop rock track will get you on your feet in no time. The next one "Why London" is a little beat dreamy, the voice sounds slightly melancholic. After a piano entry, "On the ground" develops in a mid tempo ballad with a strong beat and a majestic chorus, before ending on some guitar notes. "Into Space" intro and chorus sounds 70's influenced, and made me think about the Counting Crows. The next track "Tell me" should be a single, the melody is addictive, it's up beat, and I love the guitars here. "I worship you", "Save the day", "Snowman" are mid tempo tracks with sing along chorus. "Something is lost" has this mix of guitars and aerial chorus made me think about 80's U2, and "Skycraper" is a great floating ballad. This album is easy to enjoy, and my hands stayed away from the skip button. I will probably give a try to their previous release."
