The new one, "The New Orleans Sessions," just shipped in early October.Erika Luckett is a talented guitarist and a soulful vocalist - Tuck and Patti all rolled into one. And she's an even better songwriter and lyricist. Her lovely, lively, Latin-influenced guitar work is always interesting, clean, and perfectly matched to the material. Her vocals will open your heart and lift your spirit.And those intelligent and enchanting songs: "Postcard From Graceland" - 'I'm missing you, but life is good.' Longing, but no self-pity here. And what a beat! "Besame" - Is this even legal? Perfectly captures that moment in a great relationship when love, lust and languor collide. Don't even think of listening to this without your sweetie close by. "Lunacy" - Cole Porter with a woman's touch.
