"This cd is the music from the motion picture "Comeback"
starring Eric Burdon that came out around 1981 or 82.
The difference between this one and the original is that
a lot more songs are added from the time period. Disc 2
is mostly live stuff from a show in Berlin.
The music is great, the only reason I gave it 4 stars
insteed of five is because the first cd is all mixed up.
The song list on the back cover is not in order of the
recordings, "Sweet Blood Call" for some reason is recorded
twice, once early on, the other later on. The songs listed
"No More Elmore" and "Bird on a Beach" do not even appear
on the cd and they were on the original recording(which has
only 10 songs). This 2 cd set has 27 songs, so you can't
go wrong for $10 if buying it used. But I can't imagine how
NMC Music could screw up a song list so bad and leave two
important cuts off the track. They should be taken out back
and shot. For all this confusion I give it 4 stars, but the
music is worth 5 stars, after all it is Eric Burdon at his best.
