Michael (M.I.C.) began Christian rapping at age 15 in 2003 when he met Travis (T-Swift) and they together formed the group ""Equipt"", short for equipping the saints for the ministry. After meeting Michael and Travis at a youth conference, where Equipt performed in 2005, Alex (A-Man) was inspired and joined the group. The trio performed at various local engagements between 2004 - 2008, but also has traveled to Rogersville, AL, and twice to New York, NY, during that time, to promote a self released CD entitled ""Ready to Die"". After Equipt's talent and message was recognized by producers Antoine L. Lark Sr. (T-One), and Lester Lark Jr., submission was made to Tate Music Group who also saw talent potential. Equipt's current CD entitled ""A Better Way"" is scheduled to be released by Tate Music Group in 2010 to God's glory and honor.
