Pangaea | Wyandotte, Michigan United States | 06/07/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "With hints of the music he would score for 1986's "The Untouchables," Ennio Morricone constructs beautiful textures and tones for this rare (and rarely seen) Italian murder/mystery from the late 60's. The highlight is the 17-minute-plus 5th track, "Sinfonia Per L'Attentato" from which all subsequent tracks (excepting the opening march) are pulled. Creepy and mysterious, yet with a consistent forward-pushing march, one can only imagine what is going on in the film. Classic Morricone Noir. Put this on whilst getting away in a car, and you'll never look back..."
