Synopsis

Album Description
For over 10 years, and over the course of 7 albums, Enchant has been building a loyal following and a stellar reputation as being one of America's top Progressive rock acts. On March 13th, 2004, Enchant played a blistering 2 1/2 hour show at the I-Musicast in Oakland, CA. Fans from all over the world flew in for the gig to see the long awaited recording and filming of the show. Along with their regular hard rockin' Progressive songs, the band did a few acoustic versions of some of their more popular tracks. The DVD will feature the live show, fan interviews, an interview with the band, rehearsal, sound check footage plus a photo gallery of the show and their 2003 European tour. The live CD version will include audio only.

CD Reviews

ONE OF THE VERY BEST LIVE ALBUMS I HAVE EVER HEARD

"Hell, yeah! You just could not do a better live album.Assuming that you already like the material lets focuse on the live performance instead. The crowd is a vibrant participant all of the time, but they know when to shut up and let the music do the talking. The band sound vey tight and display large amounts of energy to the fans.Especially Ted Leonard, who talks in a relaxed manner with the audience and makes up for several amusing and funny moments like, for example, a bit when someone screams: YOU ROCK!! and Ted answers: WELL, THANK YOU SIR!

The performance is expertly recorded and yet you feel is REALLY LIVE so it reminds me of Blind Guardian Live album in that department. The amount of material is huge, but i have to say i really miss several songs! Like: King; The Lizard; Juggling Knives; Flat Line; and a LOT from the Tug Of War album.

Well, despite my criticisms i have to tell you: if you are a Enchant enthusiast..run to buy this live album! If you are new to this band start from whatever studio album you want. They are all great pieces of art.Live albums are NOT Greatest Hits, they are made for the converted, because it's LIVE(and therefore not totally polished) and many of the nuances in a song are missing and the crowd participation is also a distracting factor.

Highly recommended for Enchant fans! One of the best of the genre!

First of all, this work should be listen about three times before you can consider it. This musical banquet was recorded last year in Oakland, ENCHANT homeland. ENCHANT sounds great at studio, but when they play live they put a very special feeling that only megabands like KARNATAKA or SYMPHONY X, in their own styles, can deliver. With a big influence of RUSH, ENCHANT has been capable to develop their own musical style. Exceptional music, great deep lyrics makes ENCHANT one of the best progressive groups today. Just listen to MAE DAE, followed by AT DEATH'S DOOR or ACQUATANCE or MONDAY, one of the best songs produced by this megagroup....simply incredible...This CD is a MUST....."
