Synopsis

Album Details
Santarromana's First Formal Full Length Solo Collection Arrives after Having DJ'D Five Years in the French Electronic Scene and after Curating Two Successful Collections for Fashion Designer Barbara Bui. For his Own Project, He Takes the Listener on an Aural Metro (The Paris Subway) Tour of the Capital City with Stops at the Major Arrondisments (Districts). The Tracks of this Disc Are as Diverse as the City Itself, Highlighted by "Opera" (Featuring a Rendition of Vivaldi's "Nisi Dominus", the Hip-hop Atmosphere of "Les Halles" (Featuring Rapper Mike Ladd), the Arabic Nature of "Barbes" and Africana of "Chateau Rouges", the Melancholic Pop of "Pere Lachaise" and of Course, the Jazz that is Only Natural in the Air at "Saint Germain-des-pres". This Disc is as Charming and Alluring as the City Itself and Paints an Audio Portrait of One of the World's Greatest Urban Centers of Culture. It is to Be Treasured by Native and Visitor (And Potential Visitor) Alike!

"
This record is recommended for anyone who likes Jazz, trip hop, hip hop, and world music in general.

It is a compilation of many sounds, some more organic and others more experimental.

It evokes images of places and sounds. It stands as a current retrospective look and admiration for french culture. It is charged with nostalgia and uplifting moments as well.

Unfortunately, i have not seen reviews on it (not to say that they dont exist).

Over all it is a great record, and instead of describing every single song, I invite you to hear it.

It's a classic...."
