CD Reviews

Eminem's "The real shady"

"I like this song and would recommend it to people who like to finally see someone tell the truth about things because the song "The real shady"is telling the truth about things! He be expressing himself fully not half way and don't care if he hurt you or not!He shows that he has the gut's to say stuff instead of just holding it in like a chicken, but if you want to know why I gave it a 4 it's because somethings are better off unsaid and he doesn't really show that.He just say's it with out thinking and in real life some people won't except that.So I think that it deserved a 4."
"Guess there's a Slim Shady in all of us..."

"...Quotes controversial rapper Eminem. I Must admite I hated this song at first but it grew on me. First off I'm sick and tired of people dissin' Eminem. Yeah he may be a lil' twisted inside his head at sometimes (Which he clearly states in the song "Yeah I might have a couple screws up in my head loose...") but Eminem is still a good rapper. He mixes Rap and Pop very well...and though the Explicit Version might not be good for childrean to hear it's funny as hell! He really gives us a glimpse of reality. Yes there very well may be a part of us that just wants to let loose and go crazy. Maybe we won't spit on people's onion rings but hey, ya know?! And he also gives us the truth about tv and music is so centered around sex, but even though these resources are available on a daily basis to children we don't expect them to know it all. He also disses today's manufactured girl and boy groups which I Totally agree with. And about a White rapper, c'mon people: rapping is an Art and can be done by anyone no matter what your race is. It's just another factor of racism in today's society. If Eminem was black there wouldn't be anyone talking. ...--Get this Single! It's halarious and flows together very well! ..."

"Nice beat, awesome beat...moving on. The lyrics are awesome, but the subject matter needs help. I really am a fan of Eminem, but I don't understand WHY he has to diss so many people. What did they do to him (if I knew that, I would give this track a 5)? Nice, fun to listen to, but if you really pay attention to the lyrics, you'll see this in a diffeernt light. You either hate him or love him, I personally love his newer work, but I still don't know why he has to cuss so much (I'm not against cussing, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to write a song that's 50% cussing). PEACE OUT!"
