Her voice has more feeling then it did on her previous two Gershwin sets(Ella Sings Gershwin on Decca and The Gershwin Songbook on Verve) Ella always was brilliant when accompanied by just a piano or just a guitar(as the Joe Pass duet albums on Pablo prove) and here she duets with Andre Previn, as they uplift these timeless Gershwin standards... Recommended to all jazz buffs, as well as lovers of the great American songbook. This is a real gem." Stunning...
