Elin's crystal clear voice, with it's blend of tonal beauty and expressive intensity is the ideal instrument to reconnect modern listeners with Baroque music. 'Eternal Light' is conducted by Harry Christophers, founder of hugely successful choral group The Sixteen. Elin is accompanied by Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.

Beautiful vocals

"I came across Elin Manahan-Thomas first as the Soprano that recorded the lastest Bach piece found a few years back. I picked up this CD on a whim, and am very thankful for it. Her voice is very clear and controlled as she interprets Bach, Vivaldi, Purcell and other baroque pieces. There is a heavenly essence to her intrepretation of the first two tracks in particular. She also gives a very sweet performance of Bist Du Bei Mir. If I listen to even a portion of it, it will certianly be "stuck in my ear" for hours.

Elin has a light, lucid voice that is rich in purity. I have really enjoyed listening to her peaceful interpretations of these masters."
