"From PROSPECTIVE magazine (reprinted with permission) THE ELECTRIC HELLFIRE CLUB "UNHOLY ROLLER and an eclectic collection of remakes, remixes, & reruns" Cleopatra The reduced price of this 10-track collection is a strong purchase motivator. In and amongst this collection of mostly club-oriented remixes of EHC classics, you will find what I would say is one the best Hellfire tracks EVER. Unholy Roller encapsulates the blasphemous spirit of EHC, as well as any of their previous satanic anthems. Up beat, loud, Heathenistic marshal music that brings to mind an Industrial era answer to Judas Priest at it's very best. This vein is strongly supported by an eerily faithful rendition of Motley Crue's "Shout At The Devil". While still within the blurry genre' boundaries of Industrial, this latest addition to the Hellfire collection of Heavy Metal tributes (AC/DC's "Highway to Hell", Kiss' "Calling Dr. Love" etc.) strays nary a step from the path of the original recording. For those who may fear the The Electric Hellfire Club may have banged their collective head too far from their electronic roots, need only sip from the other contents of this deconcecrated chalice to dispel such misconceptions. Many do prefer to vent their aggression in the more structured environment of the dance club, and for those initiates a wealth of remixes have been provided. The sonic scalpel has been Mengeleishly wielded by DJ CYKOPHUK, TRANSMUTATOR, RAZED IN BLACK, INTERCEPTOR, and EHC's old pals and lablemates SPAHN RANCH. INTERCEPTOR wins the insane diversification prize for dragging these chaotic lords into the dark realm of trip-hop. Not being a DJ, this batch of tracks alludes my personal choice for replay button utilization with the notable exception of BONEHEAD's "Prince Of Darkness (Laughing All the Way ReMix)", which I enjoyed quite a bit. For the purest collector, the Club has included circa '93 comp.track "THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL (Bring Me the Head of Bob Larsen)". It takes a well-earned poke at the American Radio evangelist money-grubber, who has done almost as much to promote Satanism as the late Anton Le Vey himself. The final ingredient in this Electro-occult stew is an addition from the Genitorturers camp. "Book Of Lies (Ether-eal Mix)" is a haunting instrumental Trip to the nether regions of the mind, which provides a refreshing palette cleansing, after such a heavy meal. The Electric Hellfire Club is basically providing two EP's, for the price of one. Whether Electro-banger, or club-a-dubby, it's about as good of a deal as you can expect, when dealing with Satan."

"This has become a favourite CD for my household, we usually start and end the day with it. The lyrics in the title song are so good that I'd like to quote some of them in one of my own books. The diversity of musical styles alone is something which makes this CD possible to listen to over and over without tiring of it, and the quality of the songwriting is superb. I'm going to have to listen to more by this band, meanwhile, I'm going to set up a link to this page from my website just to recommend it to everyone that I can.~ Jaq D. Hawkins"
