CD Reviews

Fistful of rock!

"Only EF could put out a 31-track double disc of covers and make it the most awesome, must-get album of the year. I'm biased because 1) I love EF, 2) I love the bands they cover, 3) the bands they cover are inherently in EF's own music, so therefore 4) the covers kick serious ass, EF-style, while retaining their original awesomeness. The other great thing is that many of the bands are no-brainers if you know EF (AC/DC, Dictators, Maiden, Motorhead, Clash, Dead Boys, old Aerosmith, Blue Oyster Cult, New York Dolls, Misfits, etc.), but in most cases, they cover obscure songs, or at least unexpected ones. Great stuff!"

"This album, is one of my all time faves. It consists of 31 covers, by the High Energy rock and roll band...Electric Frankenstein!! Some of the bands, of honor, are...Circle Jerks, AC/DC, The Clash, Supersuckers, Generation X, Aerosmith, Joan Jett, Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd, The Misfits...and lemme tell ya, Fleetwood Mac has never sounded so good!! This CD is a must-have tribute to some of the greatest rock and roll bands, ever. And just think...the entire family can sing along! If you haven't gotten it...you just don't get it!"
Wild a ll cover songs album

"This record features over 10 years worth of cover songs that
have received the Electric Frankenstein treatment!
There is a wide variety of songs/bands featured:
from Dead Boys, The Misfits, AC/DC, Motorhead to even Pink Floyd
and Fleetwood Mac.The record features a wild and powerful version of Garland Jeffry's "Wild In the Streets" song, even better and heavier than the Circle Jerks cover of this song. Also, there are a lot of unreleased songs on this record. It is a double cd of cover song madness!"
