Beautiful music, beautifully played

"This is a fascinating collection of music from the theoretical standpoint, including canons, echo sonatas, and an amazing sonata without a cadence. Concerto Palatino never disappoints. I have several of their recordings, and all are played with virtuosity, excellent intonation, and clear musicality. The cornetto and sackbut are played not as early forms of modern instruments, but as beautiful instruments in their own right."
