CD Reviews

I LOVE THIS CD!!!

"Edwin Yearwood is one of the most talented singers/songwriters in soca music. He is very versatile in his style. This CD proves this and has great tracks both old and new(for those who are unfamiliar with his music). I've been a huge fan of Edwin and his band(Krosfyah) for years. This is one of those where you don't have to keep hitting the skip button.

True soca fans know Pump Me Up & Wet Me well enough to sing along word for word. They are timeless tunes that you just can't get tired of. Something Greater is a song that you have to just listen to the lyrics & realise how wonderful the song really is. His collaborations with Ce'cile(Sorry), Lady Saw(Take You With Me) & Mr. Mojo of Morgan Heritage(Ladies Night), show more versatility.

For new soca fans, you'll enjoy this cd a lot & hopefully it will encourage you to want to listen to some of the other music Edwin and other soca artistes have done over the years."
Utterly Brilliant

"A fantastic CD from a guy with an incredible writing talent and an amazing voice. I expected a first-class album and as usual with Edwin Yearwood, I wasn't disappointed in the slightest.

There is a good mix of old and new material, something for everyone, so people who follow soca music will know the krosfyah tunes like Pump Me Up, Wet Me and Something Greater. For those who are not faimilar with soca, once you listen to this CD you will not be able to sit still!

This is a must buy, you will not regret it and it will also help get Edwin and krosfyah out there in the public eye where they rightfully belong."
