"Way back in the early 60's when I was a little kid, my family lived down the street from Eddie Bertrand and his family. I was lucky enough to hear the band practice while I was playing with Eddie's little brother, John. My sister dated another band member, Rob, for a short while. I loved this music and still do! I was so happy to find this CD (Blue Beat Music...thanks). I have several 45s of Squad Car that I treasure. My 14 yro son, who aspires to be another Jimi Hendrix, is listening to Eddie's brilliance. And he was (and I am sure, still is) brilliant. He's got to be playing around Southern California somewhere, and I am determined to find when and where and have my kid listen to a master.

"(Squad Car) By Eddie & The Showmen (Out of print) I give this Cd 5 stars its got all the best and previously unreleased tracks, a must have for any surf music fan or a collector of rare cds. one things that gets my hair raised is to here "Squad Car" the song in (STEREO) and theres a few other tracks in stereo , now thats hard to find, if you find a copy of this cd and its spendy , its worth every penny ! grab one if you see one for sale from a seller!
