GREATNESS
04/14/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Honestly, of all of the dingy ear-bleeding maniacal CDs that I have, and I have a lot, this is the one that I come back to the most often. Pounding, menacing guitar-heavy band that developed a sound all their own on this album. If you like the post-punk Austin sound, this and Cherubs "Heroinman" are as definitive as it gets."
Scary...and I love it.

"Of course, I have every CD by Ed Hall available, and I love them all. I only got to see them once, but I'll never forget it. Swirling guitar and bass, screaming silly lyrics that make perfect sense and suddenly become pure genius. Lose yourself in Ed Hall...I truly miss them."

"The only album that compairs to motherscratcher so put on your glow paint and be prepaired for an audio halucination of the best kind. some traxs are errie some are stony but most are trippy. Larry dose it again. Please regroup and tour again."
