Definitely one of those rare albums that you just play through from start to finish over and over again. The beats, instruments, and vocals truly work together in a timeless hip-hop kind of way. Unbelievably refreshing to see so much effort put into the quality of the lyrics along with the production value. I really can't recommend this album enough, especially the 'Piece of Heaven' track.
I first found his 'Senorita' cover song on YouTube under EebSoFresh with TraPhik and I have to say it was amazing. I checked out the rest of the videos and I was sold when I heard 'Open Your Eyes - Caldwell, Common, Dilla' so I had to come support the album. Great stuff Ebrahim on the free Mix-tape releases, can't wait to hear more! Add Northern California to the fan list." |
