"The East Carolina University Chamber Singers along with organist Janette Fishell have produced an amazing and beautiful recording! The sound is phenomenal and is greatly enhanced by the amazing acoustics of St. Paul's. If you enjoy sacred music, choral music, organ music, or music by some of the premier British composers, then this is a must have! Simply delightful!"
Not your run-of-the-mill choral/organ CD

"This isn't just another CD of English choral and organ music. The ECU Chamber Singers, under Daniel Bara, present a marvelous compilation of old favorites and contemporary gems. Britten's "Rejoice in the Lamb," with an inspired text by troubled religious zealot Christopher Smart, and John Ireland's "Greater love hath no man" are complimented by Philip Wilby's sonorous arrangement of the English folksong "Marianne" and Michael Tippet's "Five Negro Spirituals" from his oratorio "A Child of Our Time". Organist Janette Fishell also lends her significant skills to the recording, both with the singers and in the solo "Psalm Prelude Set 2, no. 3" from Herbert Howells. There isn't a track to skip on this recording."
