Great Traditional Bluegrass!

"This is a fun album! Great traditional subject matter -- and most of the songs are originals! The musicianship is sprightly - I could listen to "Saturday Matinee" all day. The harmony singing is tight, and the songwriting is strongly traditional without that cloying pastiche of mountain cliches that is so prevalent in a lot of country music. (I especially liked the cataclysmic chorus of the title track.) Just a comment on "That Dawn the Day You Left Me" -- this is a really beautiful song, my favorite on the CD. This song and "Troubles All My Own" are definite hits!"
